AMARILLO, TX -The Amarillo Dillas Baseball released their 2010 schedule today that will begin with a rematch, of the 2009 United League Championship, when the Dillas travel to San Angelo for a two-game series. The Dillas will play 48 home games that include many promotions and events but the season will be highlighted with a tribute to the men and women of the military on July 4th and an annual appearance by “The Famous San Diego Chicken”.

 Student, Athlete scholarship award unveiled honoring late announcer
AMARILLO, TX – The Amarillo Dillas Baseball Club held a formal press conference this afternoon officially unveiling the “Joe Frank Wheeler Scholarship Award” in memory and honor of their late stadium address announcer. Under the scholarship award, two area student-athletes will be selected based on a number of criteria including leadership among peers, influence in the community, and performance on the athletic field and in the classroom. |
